A team of South African Investors visited the Lekki freezone on Tuesday the 16th of October 2012, The team which comprises of Mr. Giovanni Rovito (Port-a-Cool),Mr. Frikkie Cornelius (Primedia),Mrs. Njabu Griffiths (Winery & Jewelry), Mr. Kemp Munnik (BDO Advisory Services), Mr. ‘Toye Abioye, Mr. Abbey Oguntuase was met on arrival  by the Managing Director-LFZDC-Mr.Chen Xiaoxing, DMD-Mr.Adeyemo Thompson as well as Commercial Controller Mr.Chi Changgui.

The South African Delegation were taken on a tour of the Freezone by Mr.Wole Adegoke(DGM.Marketing) and Mr.Omodele Doherty (AGM. Business Development) On Wednesday the 17th of October 2012, the South African delegation held a meeting with top Management of LFZDC,at the Office Complex.

An Interactive Business Forum was held on Thursday the 18th of October 2012 at Conference room staff camp,the forum had in attendance the Chairman LFZDC, Otunba(Engr.) Olusegun Jawando, MFR, Mr Chen Xiaoxing MD,Mr.Adeyemo Thompson DMD,Mr.Chi Changgui,Commercial Controller,Officials from Nepza,Customs Immigration,SSS,and other invited guests-Stanbic IBTC,Zenith Bank to name a few.

A memorandum of understanding was signed between LFZDC and representative of South African Investors, Sheaze Realtors/ATT on Friday the 19th of October 2012.
