On the 13^th of February 2015, Consul General of the German Consulate Office, Lagos, Mr. Michael Derus, in company of some members of staff of the German Consulate Office visited the Lekki Free Zone. The German Consulate team were received by the LFZDC Deputy Managing Director, Mr. Adeyemo Thompson and LFZDC Engineering Controller, Mr. Huang Xigong and some members of staff.

A brief presentation about the Lekki Free Zone was done for the German delegates by Mr. Adeyemo Thompson. The delegates thanked the Management of LFZDC for their hospitality and expressed their optimism on the attainment of the goals and objectives for the establishment of the zone, given the level of achievement recorded by LFZDC. They also promised to encourage German investors to take advantage of the incentives and benefits provided by LFZDC, to invest in the zone. It was indeed a successful visit.
