FOCUS ON AFRICA AND LEKKI, LFZ PROMOTION HELD IN WUHAN

On the 22nd of April, 2014, A programme themed “Focus on Lekki Free Zone—a win-win cooperation between China and Nigeria, Wuhan Promotion Meeting” was held in Wuhan Huihao Hotel, in China.

This meeting was initiated by CALI (China Africa Lekki Investment Ltd), co-hosted by Nigerian Embassy in China, Wuhan Municipal Government and LFZDC, organized by China-Africa Joint Chamber of Commerce Wuhan Office and CALI, and proudly supported by China-Africa Development Fund (CADF).

Mr. Cheng Jieru, Deputy Secretary-General of Wuhan municipal government, Mr. Wang Hao, Chairman of CCPIT Wuhan Council, Mr. Li Pu ,Deputy director of the Foreign Affairs Office, Mr. Liu Danping, Deputy director of Bureau of Commerce, Ambassador SolaÂÂÂ Onadipe, Deputy chief of Mission Embassy of Nigeria, Mr. Abu-Obe, Senior Commercial Counsellor, Mr. Ayo Otepola, Consul General in Consulate General of Nigeria, Mr. Wu Zheneng, Deputy GM of Marketing and Investment Cooperation, CAD Fund, Ms. Yao Guimei, Deputy Director of Institute of West-Asia and African Studies, Chinese Academy of Social Science, Mr. Zheng Jun, MD of CALI, Mr.Thompson, DMD of LFZDC were all present at the meeting. More than 120 representatives from about 80 companies both Nigeria and China attended the forum.

During the Forum, Lekki Free Zone Development Company signed agreement with the China Council for the promotion of international trade, Wuhan sub-council and two other companies based in Wuhan, Hubei Provinces.…
