On the 12^th of July, 2012. The committee on Commerce, Trade and Investment  of the House of Representative of the Federal Republic of Nigeria visited the Lekki Free Zone in Lagos.

The house committee led by the chairman, Hon. Sylvester Ogbara explained that the essence of the visit is to assess the progress of development and discuss areas of improvement for the Free Zone.

He added that, the House committee will look into ways of addressing all the challenges of developing the zone and will also solicit for more support from the Federal Government on behalf of Lekki Free Zone.

On Arrival, The house committee was received by the Deputy Managing Director Mr. Adeyemo Thompson, the Commercial Controller Mr. CHI Changgui and other senior Management staff of Lekki Free Zone Development Company.
