On the 6th of November, 2018, the new Federal Road Safety Corps building located at Eleko Junction, Ibeju Lekki axis was commissioned by the Wife of the Lagos State Governor, Her Excellency Mrs. Bolanle Ambode. The building which was donated by the Lekki Free Zone Development Company as one of her major Corporate Social Responsibility in 2018, in order to safeguard the lives of IbejuLekki residents and road users.  As stated by the LFZDC MD, Mr. Huang Xigong, during his speech reiterated that, Ibeju Lekki axis is fast developing with increasing number of road users, hence, has become prone to frequent road accidents due to inadherence to traffic regulations.

As a result, the Management of LFZDC deemed it appropriate and suitable for the presence of FRSC, to enforce road safety rule compliance and also ensure road safety for both pedestrians and motorists.

To this, the Fed.Corp Marshall, Dr. B.O. Oyeyemi MFR., MNI., ably represented by the Lagos State Zonal Commandant, Mr. John Meheux, responded with gratitude and assured everyone of the best use of the new facility.

The occasion was graced by all Royal Highnesses along Ibeju Lekki corridor and other special state dignitaries.
