Mr Abbas Suleiman (rep. of Hon. Minister of Environment) giving his comments during the Panel Review

The panel review for the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) on the water-bodies for the Southwest Quadrant of the Lekki Free Zone, organized by the Federal Ministry of Environment, took place at the LFZDC Staff Conference Centre on 30^th & 31^st January 2015.

The panel review was chaired by Mr Femi Dada, a distinguished Environmentalist. The meeting had in attendance the representative of the Honourable Minister of Environment, Mr Abbas Suleiman, members of our Host communities (Lekki Coastal Association & Abejoye Communities Association), representative of the Lagos State Government and Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Area.

Presentations were made by our Construction department, headed by Mr Huang Xigong (Engineering Controller). The review panel made some recommendations to the LFZDC team regarding the EIA presentation.  The event was indeed a success.
