The UNIDO Eco-Industrial Park Workshop held at the Lekki Free Zone Development Company between 21^st January 2020 and 23^rd January 2020. The consultants, Dick Van Beers and Ankit Kapasi facilitated an all-inclusive discussion on eco-industrial parks which are generally more resource-efficient and cost-effective.

The consultants introduced some Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production (RECP) methods and possible industrial synergies to the participants. The workshop was well-attended by the members of staff of LFZDC, representatives of NEPZA and representatives from the enterprises.

At the conclusion of the workshop, the participants were able to appreciate the benefits of having shared recycling facilities, a conscious reduction of raw materials usage, among others.
