Lekki Free Zone Participates in Nigeria Investment Promotion Conference
On the morning of March 15, the Nigeria Investment Promotion Conference, jointly organized by the Embassy of Nigeria in China and the School of Strategic Entrepreneurs of Zhejiang Gongshang University, was held in Beijing.
The event was attended by Jimmy Patrick Ebi, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Embassy of Nigeria in China; Hassan Mohammed, Commissioner of the Nigeria Investment and Trade Office for Asia; Ying Xujun, Deputy Director of the Economy and Information Technology Bureau of Yongkang City, Zhejiang Province; and more than 50 business representatives from Yongkang City.
Jimmy Patrick Ebi welcomed the visiting business delegation and provided an overview of Nigeria’s investment environment and preferential policies. Hassan Mohammed introduced Nigeria’s general economic profile, priority industries and investment policies, encouraging enterprises from Yongkang City to invest and establish businesses in Nigeria.
As an enterprise specially invited by the Embassy, Lekki Free Zone presented its general profile, development history, distinctive features and preferential policies to the participating businesses. Its representatives also addressed questions concerning the development of overseas warehouses, taxation policies and the security environment, and invited the participating business representatives to visit Lekki Free Zone for an investment inspection tour.
Following the conference, representatives of Lekki Free Zone held in-depth discussions with the participating enterprises on issues of mutual interest.
