Chen Zheguang is a commercial professional with over nine years of experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects in Africa. He holds a master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Southwest Jiaotong University. This academic background has been crucial to his expertise in project optimization, financial strategy, and regulatory compliance.

Before joining the Lekki Free Zone Development Company (LFZDC), Chen began his career at CCECC Sierra Leone Ltd. where he progressed from Business Manager to Project Manager and General Manager. In these roles, he successfully delivered key projects, including the Freetown City Administrative Complex and the emergency reinforcement of the Sierra Leone National Stadium.

Since 2021, Chen has been a key member of CCECC Nigeria Ltd.’s team. He has overseen the commercial operations for the rehabilitation and reconstruction of Port Harcourt-Maiduguri Eastern Narrow-Gauge Railway with new branch lines and transshipment facilities, where he streamlined financial processes and improved project outcomes.

As LFZDC’s Commercial Controller, Chen is responsible for financial oversight, operational strategies, and marketing activities, ensuring sustainable growth and development within the Lekki Free Zone. His strategic vision in marketing strengthens LFZDC’s positioning and stakeholder engagement, driving the zone’s economic objectives.
