On April 8, the Jiangsu International Legal and Commercial Services Hub Promotional Exchange Meeting was successfully held in Jianye District under the theme “Safeguarding Business through Law, Advancing Law through Commerce, Fostering New-Quality Legal and Commercial Services, and Connecting the World through the Hub.”

The event showcased the achievements made in developing the Jiangsu International Legal and Commercial Services Hub. Participants discussed opportunities for the integrated development of legal and commercial services and explored cooperation in cross-border legal and business services between China and Africa.

The event was jointly organized by the Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Justice and the People’s Government of Jianye District. It aimed to promote China–Africa legal and commercial cooperation, build a bridge for the integration of legal and business services between China and Africa, and establish a solid legal foundation for Chinese enterprises seeking to expand into African markets.

Lekki Free Zone was invited to attend the meeting and participated in the “China–Africa Integrated Legal and Commercial Services Roundtable.” As a representative of an overseas free trade zone, Lekki Free Zone delivered a special presentation introducing participants and business representatives to Nigeria’s investment advantages and opportunities.

The presentation also highlighted Lekki Free Zone’s strategic location, industrial development priorities, preferential policies, and measures for identifying and mitigating the risks associated with investing in Nigeria.

Following the meeting, representatives of Lekki Free Zone held in-depth discussions and exchanges with participating business representatives.
